Pastor Tania Fuentes is the Senior Pastor of the Love of Jesus Family Church of West New York.  She has been serving the Lord over 30 years and has worked faithfully in ministry for over 25 years.

 

Pastor Fuentes began her ministry in Spanish Harlem. She, along with her late husband Pastor Mickey Fuentes, pioneered a faith and reconciliation ministry, reaching out to anyone hungry for Christ.  Drug lords, gang members, teens, the disenfranchised and even the elite of downtown New York came through the doors of the church and found a place of salvation, deliverance and healing.  Pastor Fuentes was ultimately directed by the Lord to continue this work in New Jersey where she and her late husband established a church in Union City in 1995 and in 2000 relocated to West New York, NJ.

 

Pastor Fuentes is passionate about missions and has done extensive work in Cuba,  where she helped to establish three churches.  She has also ministered in France, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, Canada, Puerto Rico and throughout the United States.  Her anointed teaching with a prophetic edge has transformed countless numbers of lives.

 

Throughout her ministry Pastor Fuentes has suffered many difficult times, including the loss of two young children and in 2005 the loss of her loving husband.  However, she uses the strength God has given her to strengthen others.  Her heartbeat is to bring healing to the broken- hearted and to re-establish a legacy of strength and empowerment in their lives by teaching who they are in Christ and who Christ is in them. She believes her own life is a testimony of how God truly gives beauty in exchange for ashes.  Through her innovative, anointed preaching and teaching of the word, she brings fresh hope to those who are walking through valley experiences. 

 

In 2008 she established a Community Development Corporation with the vision of bringing healing and empowerment to her local community.  She is particularly interested in helping at-risk youth and seniors and has won various Women of the Year awards, as well as State recognition for her community involvement.  In a short time, she has been able to serve thousands of people in five cities, laboring hand-in-hand with local officials, state agencies, non-profits and local schools to bring much needed change.  She is also the Founder and President of an LLC. 

 

Pastor Fuentes was ordained by the Love of Jesus Ministries of Orange, New Jersey.  She has earned several certifications including a certification from the American Board of Missions to Jews and Rhema Bible Institute. In 2015 Pastor Fuentes remarried and currently resides in New Jersey with her husband and two children.
